james campbell
I would be worried about the power output, thats probably only 12 watts, not enough for a ccr or ccb
k6ccc
1 amp is not very much. That's only about 15 feet of LED rope light (with the stuff I have).
Guest guest
Well I use these for many things, but since I don't own any CCR's or CCB type strings, I thought these may have been usable. I mean really, they are cheap enough that you buy 1 and get 1 and they are great for some Halloween or Christmas prop motors or lights that operate off 12VDC, and I know they'll power an 12VDC FM Transmitter, but think they need those coils on each end of the power wire when using one.For the life of me I can't think of the proper name for these coils, but what comes to mind is "ferrite coil" at the moment, but can't say that's exactly the correct term.Anyway, was just passing on what I thought may have been usable for the hobbyist folks here.Unfortunately seems this one isn't good enough for CCR or RGB type stuff, but they work very well with my Snowfall lights that my original 112VDC power adapters {2 of 'em} failed within 2 weeks of using them.So they may still have a use somewhere, for something, for someone. Missed that one on the preview and NO EDIT to fix it!However in the quoted message it was corrected inside this post window.
