big joe
Hi all! Big Joe here! Want to say thanks for all of the informed responses I got on my last post on GFCI's, who would of thought that a simple question could spread to such a large discussion. HEH-HEH Anyways I got anouther Newbie Question: So I got(16)songs done I think,of(22). My question is When "spinning the tree do most of you's go with (100%) power then back off to say like (20%)power so the tree isn't totally dark?" I think it could be answered quite easily if I already had my lights but they won't be shipped for awhile yet. Just trying to stay ahead of the timing curve, as I'am currently working on a "down" in Marquette,MI. and can't devote 100% of my time to my new favorite hubby of Blinky--Flashy. Thanks and I know my spelling is not the greatest.

Thanks and I know my spelling is not the greatest.I always have mine off unless I am using the lower intensity as an effect. Are you talking about leds or incandescents? Dad02
Much of it is personal preference. Swipes, quarters and color changes (as I put it) are going to require some off time.

Baron1414
I also use C 6's and I split the string, then have both lengths beside each other for more effect. I also use .05 (quick) timing, with single or more cells to vary speeds of spirals.:]
