Maine Lights
I was wondering where everyone has had good luck and good prices for SPT 2 wire and vampire plugs. Any help would be great as I would like to start working on some projects for this coming season.
Dan Ancona
Try Skycraft for wire. They will at times have specials.
shfr26
Home depot has plugs sometimes. Usually later in the year, only SPT1 I think.

Maine Lights
Should I go for SPT 2 16/2 or 18/2 I live in Maine so the winter months are quite cold.

The bigger issue may be SPT2 vs SPT1 for that issue. SPT2 probably would make more sense so it is thicker, but only if the price is right. In all reality the wire is just going to be laying there so not a huge issue either way. Now if you are going to be walking on it a lot or moving it a lot, then that is a bigger deal.
