Has any other Washington State resident recently tried to purchase from Ray Wu? Apparently due to legal reasons they can no longer provide escrow services to us.

Is there a way around that?

The way I have and many other have done is pay through PayPal, ray will combine shipping and send you and invoice with the PayPal details.

I agree... contact Ray via a product through the store and tell him what you are interested in ordering. You will in all likelihood begin communicating through direct e-mails with him to place your order.

I have to pile on here.

I just had a few dealings with Ray. He is not only very honest but very fair.

I had a bit of an issue with a DMX to 2801 controller and the way he dealt with it was exactly how I would have dealt with my customers. The issue wound up being me connecting to the wrong end of the pixel string and not Ray's product.

I would say the biggest issue with buying at Ray Wu's Store is the lack of documentation.. Same issue many have had with most of the Chinese companies we buy from. Ray said he will work on that....

But honesty.. is not an issue with Ray.

I will deal with him much much more..

Slightly off subject, but one of my concerns about ordering from out of country has been import duties/customs fees. Does anyone know if there is a dollar limit before customs fees are assessed?

Same here. Had an order delayed due to a manufacturer and he add some

test pixels for me to try at no charge because of the delay.

Good guy do deal with.

It took my order about two weeks because of a delay from the factory. If you have

an issue just email him and he will respond.

I just received my first order from Ray. It took 10-14 days to assemble the order and shipping didn't take much longer than a week. I payed through Ali Express and was surprised when the fee came up on my credit card 2 days before the product arrived. I though money wasn't released till the shipment arrived. No that it mattered as all items were delivered as ordered.

That's odd Steve. I've never had them release funds until I approved the order. I've ordered both through Ali and direct with Ray and haven't had a problem!
