Both my parents are Marines, well ex marines but there is no such thing as a retired marine. They are both now in LEO. Every police or military funeral pretty much tears me apart. Seeing other monsters of men break down, and the worst part is that they gave it all for a country full of people who dont care.I for one appreciate any service where you are the leading figure of society. Its a shame for any sports player to make more than a cop or a teacher and they should be ashamed of how they are role models in comparison.Never forget why we get to do why we do. My daughter will have to be very brave at home with three children and another on the way. She is so strong, but she is 800 miles away from us. We'll probably be on the road a lot while he is gone.
