NET LIGHTS TICKING ME OFF!

I have 2 sets of triangle shaped net light by Phillips. One is working just fine. The other has 3 rows on the connector (female) side of the string out and a few others scattered here and there. I have purchased a "buzz box" (SF-102) and STILL can't track down the problem :X I don't really "need" this set, but it's the principal of the thing. I have replaced several sockets, but no joy. I'm at the point where I want to just "re-wire" the set with a couple of 100ct Incan, but don't want to use a whole b**t load of tie wraps. Does anyone know of a Mini-Mini clip (UV rated of course) that I can re-string with?

OR does anyone have ANY "repeat" ANY ideas on how to fix these dang things? They are driving me slightly NUTS!

+1.

Plastic or metal, either will solve the net light problem.

Williams idea is good but this idea is more fun plus you can use his idea after mine
