jem5136 Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I have been trying to use my current email to see which level of LOR I have (I'm pretty sure it's the advanced level, but I just wanna check to make sure). I'm checking because my plan was to upgrade after the new year, which is now; but the automatic system LOR has for finding out what level your software is requires an email. I entered in my current email, but the email I received said there wasn't a registered license for my email, and I remembered when I got the software, I didn't use the same email I use now.So my question is, how do I switch my email around so the license I have is for my current email and I can upgrade without any issues?PS: Everything else (like the forums and mailing list) is all with my current email. Thanks,Jesse
bob Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Open up a ticket on the LOR Customer Support Help Desk, and they'll straighten it out for you.Incidentally, though, if you have a copy of the software that is currently activated, or if you know your license so that you can activate a copy, the title bar of various programs will tell you. For example, the title bar of the Sequence Editor might say something like "Light-O-Rama Sequence Editor, v3.1.4, Advanced".You should still get your email switched on your license, but I'm just mentioning that other option in case you want to know your license level immediately.
jem5136 Posted January 20, 2012 Author Posted January 20, 2012 Ok, thank you. And I am trying to upgrade form S2 to S3, and I downloaded S3 (which is running in demo mode right now) to see if I would like it; so I don't have the option to see which version I have.
