I would like to upgrade my software. Currently I have the LOR 2.9.4 advanced version and I want to upgrade to the S3 advance version. In the drop down box of the LOR window I do not see this option....Which one of the options do I need to choose....thanks alot for your help

In the drop down box it gives the following alternatives: (1) basic to basic plus ($20.00) (2) Basic to standard ($50.00) (3) Basic to Standard ($30.00) (4) Basic plus to advanced ($70.00) (5) Standard to Advance ($40.00). Which one of these do I choose if I want to upgrade from 2.9.4 ro S3 Advanced?

Look at the link I posted again. You are on the upgrade page.

You want the renewal page.

You might want to think about purchasing the Superstar package for $45.95 instead of just buying the upgrade package for $29.95.

The Superstar package for the additional $15 will give you the ability to sequence 2 - CCR's as well as the Auto Sequencing feature.
A very nice upgrade as well as the new softwre package that is more of a value (in my own opinion) than to just do an upgrade and then find out later on that I want to use CCR's or try out the Auto Sequencer (which I do) later on.

Thank you for the information....I do not see on the page the offer for this package....

Here is the page to purchase the SuperStar Sequencer. This will give you the S3 license as well.

I was just glancing at this thread and followed your link, but notice that it costs an additional $3.00 for S3 as an "Addon". For the new member, how do you add the S3 to this option?

OK, I must be tired. Misread the info on the link. Three lashes with a wet noodle for me.

I understand what your saying, but the page in bold red letters states "S3 Software Suite is required to use this product. This is an addon to S3!"

To me, this says I need to get S3 first (in my case upgrade for $29.95) before I can use the SS 45.95 "Add On". Just to comfrm...are you stating that if I purchase the SS $45.95, that my S2 Advance will upgrade to S3 Advance AND I'll get the 2 - CCR SS ?? I'm only questioning it because nowhere does it state this on the page.

Kevin,

Yes, the purchase of a CCR license would renew your overall license for one year.

Yep, Don beat me to an answer.

There was a thread some time back about this as well and everybody somewhat agreed that this route was the most cost effective way to "upgrade" as well as take advantage of the new software available.
This is the route I am going probably later this week when I go for the new S3 software. I don't have any CCR's but I do want to be able to play with the Auto Sequencer and will probably do something with RGB strips later on and can use the CCR programing features for them.

Thanks for the clarification. I purchased the 2-CCR for $45 and it upgraded my S2 Advance to S3 Advance with 2-CCRs. IMO, just to option of “Channel Groups” was worth the $45. Before I had 5 tracks for the 1100+ channels. Now I have them all grouped together on half a screen. Going to make life just a little bit easier :-) The Visualizer is also a very nice addition. Wish I would figure out the SuperStar. Any video links that show some basic how to use? I seen one ones on Brian’s web page, but those are about scrolling creating letters.
