eurbani
I created a short sequence with a windows command. It runs fine and executes the windows command.I then created a sequence using the first sequence as a subsequence. The windows command does NOT execute.I'm assuming that this is performing as designed, but I'm bummed because I can't find that this isn't working. The only thing that I see in the help file is, "When the channel in the main sequence is turned on, the subsequence will begin playing, from its beginning." And for windows shell commands, "whenever that sequence is played (either by the Sequence Editor or the Show Player), the command will be executed."So, I'm puzzled as to why this isn't working.I have the advanced license. I think that it is set up correctly. Any suggestions?
bob
Sorry, Windows shell commands are not currently supported in subsequences. I suggest sending an email to wishlist@lightorama.com about it.
eurbani
Thanks Bob. I might suggest that this is added to the documentation.
bob
It has been. The 3.2 documentation will note this.
ItsMeBobO
Hey EurbaniWhere you trying to cause a command to be executed at the end of the song? Or at multiple points in the song?It was requested long ago to be able to specify when to run the command. I will back up your request with a refresh of being able to have more than one command and to be able to specify a time or relative time for each. (Like 10 seconds before the end)
