ok this was the first year that I had people stop and look at the lights, other years just a small few slow drive buys. I do think the lights looked 100 percent better this year with lor instead of the plug and play boxes I had prior. I am having the blues knowing that last night was it for this year and soon the lights will be packed away until November:(. Is it just me or does it happen to you all?

If you don't want to have the blues just add another addiction : gardening...

As soon as I start setting down the display I start thinking about Spring flowers coming soon and feel better at once. ;-)

Find more holidays or uses for the controllers. Mine came out of the yard yesterday straight into the patio and living room, yes in my living room. I know a few on here use them year round for landscape lighting as well.

Im playing with RGB strips as accent lights. This give me a better understanding of how they operate before its crunch time.

I get it as well, I had so many people this year, all the nice comments from people, I am going to miss it, but I am planning for next year as I speak.

Already starting to play with next years show. Thanks to Susan with the singing tree's and Mr. Talley's clapping tree's. I will still do a star that comes in from 300 feet away...

My yard looks like a desert... this is the first year i got everything down the day after new years...previous years waited til sometime in march. But yes planning for next year and after christmas sales always lessen the blues. Putting in a spiral tree next year and gotta get a miniture built in basement to start playing with programming. and of course converting some things over to LED to lessen the electric bill and also so i can add more channels and lights.

same here, we had folks driving by New Years Eve and Day. Was sad to take it down but now we have about 90% of it done and should finish the rest tomorrow. The yard looks naked without all our lights!!

Most proud of my Mega Tree and many thanks to those of you that helped me figure out some of the technical issues as well as those that helped me figure out how to tweak my sequences to look better.

Next up was my mini-trees from tomato cages, wasn't sure how they were gonna look but once hooked up and running it brought a tear to my eye.

Now to start planning next year.

LOL! Same here, I tried wrapping the branches on the trees this year and now I'm wishing I didn't watch so many Holdman vids.
I'm going to film my lights tomorrow so at least I get to see it one more time.

I didn't put my completed display out in October due to an injury. I didn't even want to celebrate Christmas this yaer. I completely revamped my display and doing all new songs. I started programing in December and it helped fix my mood. I was able to get two songs done so far while I am off. I am now excited to put the display out in October. James the blues will pass, give it time.
