LORi P
I just got home and threw on some sweats and sat on the couch. Then the doorbell rings..... hmmmm.... I am not expecting anyone...It was four kids about 6-10 years old. They told me how cool the display was and thanked me for sharing it. The littlest one asked how I got the lights to do that. They made my day!

Greg
It really does make your day... I had a similar situation while setting up this year, an older woman that walks past our house everyday was out with her grand daughter maybe 3 years old. The lady tell me how she loves our lights she can see them from her living room. Her grandaughter proceeds to ask me If I know santa because I always decorate with alot of lights. I told her yes, and I will give him a message that she is a good girl. she got this big smile and started jumping around. Gota love that feeling. LORi P
Ok - four kids coming to the door to say "Thank you" made my heart feel good. But last night two kids came with a "Thank you" that made both my heart and my tummy feel good.... a card and about 3 dozen home made cookies and about a dozen pieces of fudge. 7 kinds of cookies and two kinds of fudge. I had some friends over last night and we had a cookie feast to go along with our hot chocolate and Baileys.

Rick Childers
That is definitely what makes it worth it. I finally got my display going with music this year, and it made me forgot the insane amount of time I spent on it. I received a couple of e-mails from my web site telling me how much their Kids liked it, makes it all worthwhile.
