Scheduling show

Ok here is what I have, a total of 9 songs for the show, that runs for about 20 min, what i would like to do is take one of the song out so that i can make that song play only once per hour and keep the rest rotating, was wandering if there is a way to do it without scheduling a show from 5pm to 5:30pm then that 1 song, then another sow from 5:35pm to 6:30pm, then a show for that 1 song again from 6:30 to 6:35pm, then the show again from 6:35pm to 7:30pm and so on.

You could create a show with your 1 song in the start-up tab, and the rest in the animation tab. Schedule the show to run every hour (i.e. 5:00-5:59, 6:00-6:59, ...). It will play the show in the startup tab at the beginning of the hour and repeat the remaining songs for the remainder of the hour. If you want the shows to start exactly at the top of the hour, you might have to play with the ending time a little since it will not end a show in the middle of a song. For example, if it starts playing a 4 minute song at 6:58.30, it will complete that song (around 7:02) before it begins the show again. Adjusting the end time should solve this issue.

I'm not positive but you might try this. If you want sequence(song)1 to play once an hour and the rest to rotate. In the show editor build your show in the following way: Add sequence1, then sequence2, etc thru sequence9. Now add sequence2, sequence3, etc to sequence9 again but leave out sequence1. Then add sequence2, sequence3, etc. to sequence9 leaving out sequence1 again. So you should have sequence1 listed once and the rest listed three times. You stated your 9 songs take about 20 minutes to go through them all. With them entered as above, it should take about an hour to loop back to the beginning of the show(where song 1 is). You can add or delete a sequence entry to get the total time you want between sequence 1 looping. You can also change the delay time between sequences to alter the total time before looping. This won't be precisely on the hour but you can try it if close works for you. Note:first time thru may take a little longer as it loads sequences for the first time. Also set the show to play all songs before repeating(not random). Others may have a better idea, but this what I thought might work.

I will try that, never thought of putting in the same song 3 times in one show and only put the one i want one time once. I can't believe i didn't think of that.
