daveo150
Hi all,So many people here helped me out in my initial days with LOR, and I was so grateful for their generosity.....now it's my turn to give back. For my first LOR project I've built a 16 channel, 4 color mega tree. I knew the rotating animations wouldn't be as smooth with only 4 segments per color, but I really wanted 4 colors. Attached are all my 2011 sequences that I'm using for my show this year. Admittedly I keep adding to it almost daily, ....can't help it....but here what I have so far. (Rename as a .zip file)My musical sequences:Amazing Grace Techno (this is the short "edit" version you can find on these boards)Charlie Brown Christmas Time is HereChrismas Vacation Theme (of course...)Dominick the DonkeyLinus and LucyTSO - Christmas Eve SarajevoTSO - Mad Russian's ChristmasTSO - Wizards in WinterBumps: (I really liked this idea from other people's shows, so I use one of these in between each song)Christmas Vacation - I dedicate this houseChristmas Vacation - Griswold Family TreeChristmas Vacation - Don't throw me down ClarkChristms Vacation - Is your house on fire?A Christmas Story - Thee 200 shot range model rifleA Christmas Story - The greatest presentA Christmas Story - Daddys gonna kill ralphieA Christmas Story - What I want for christmasAnd to close my show, Linus' telling of the true meaning of ChristmasPlease feel free to use as you'd like. Please note I've created most of these, but some were adapted from previous examples. In my initial zeal for my new Light o rama box I must've downloaded 100 samples in one day, and I don't know who posted them originally anymore.......so please don't think I'm trying to take credit for anyone else's work.Enjoy! daveo150
That's because there's a setting in windows7 that says to 'hide file extensions of known types' or something like that..... not certain off top of my head, but I'll find it tomorrow and post up. John OBrien
To change the file extension from Txt back to Zip under Windows Vista, do the following:From the "Control Panel" select "Folder Options"Select the "View Tab"Uncheck box at "Hide extensions for known file types"Hit OK at bottom to save. You should then see the entire filename and extension in the file explorer and can rename (delete the txt part)Hope this helps. Took me awhile as well.

TJ Hvasta
One word of warning here.. you should NEVER have filename extensions hidden, as viruses are hidden that very way. EXACTLY like the .txt file posted above.. the virus would have Linus.mp3(.exe) with the execute handle hidden.. you wouldnt even KNOW it was a virus.. click it, thinking its a song and BANG, you're infected.. No, the Linus.mp3 above isnt a virus.. but how would you know????You should NEVER, EVER have file extensions hidden. EVERI spent two full days trying to get a particuarly nasty virus off my sister's Dell.. which she got exactly the way I described above.. If you're going to download or get emails stuff, be sure to have a good, and up-to-date antivirus and anti-malware program. We now return you to our regular download, already in progress.. daveo150
I agree TJ..... can't believe that's the default setting in Windows......big risk there.D
daveo150
OK, well I was trying to post my first video to Youtube for the mega tree, but I don't think it's going to happen. I keep getting Bit Schlapped by something on there that keeps muting my audio. No point in posting a video of the tree without the background music....looks like they don't let you use music in the background of videos anymore. Huh....
