Getting discouraged

Ok where to start????

I have a successful 7 CCR leaping arch display (not in a network) working perfectly. ** knocking on wood**

I also have a 24 CCR strand "animation matrix". It is a 6 port network running almost perfectly. Strand 2 and 23 are having problems with sections of lights staying on. When the sequence starts all is fine. Once words and morphs move through the random sections, it does one of two things : displays the wrong color (red for white, white for green etc.) or it doesn't turn the lights off after the effect (leaving sections of 3 randomly and colorfully lit). I have reset the controllers, replaced the controllers, replaced the ribbons. This is problem number 1. It is livable for this season, just annoying when everything else works properly.

MAJOR problem: We created a mega tree of 12 CCR strands and a star. We purchased 3 of Brian's programs to run with the tree. I have followed his instructions to the letter, but I have serious "garbage". Sections (3 leds) are left on randomly, wrong colors. The programs are amazing when I am watching them in the superstar program, but as soon as I start the show I'm embarrassed. Luckily no one realizes it is not playing correctly, but disappointed they can't see the real program. I have also tried to reset the controllers with this display. I know we are struggling with power supplies failing as well.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I am getting greatly discouraged. Alot of sweat, time, stress and money invested for them to be having these problems. I am beyond my technical knowledge to fix them. =(

Becky, I'm not getting this CCR programming in Superstar but tonight I was working on my ribbon (actually 1.5 ribbons in an arch). I couldn't determine what I was doing wrong but the ribbon wasn't doing what I expected. But then, viola'! When I set up the ribbon in the program it added some additional items that are the macros etc on the additional channels. Blanked that out and atleast I'm on the right track. Maybe there is something like this in yours?
