avery255
So I ordered my first controller about 6 weeks ago and after that I scrambled to get all my lights up, all my cords made and run to an empty spot on the wall and stressed about getting sequences done....I received my controller yesterday, put all the plugs together no problem then ran into an issue installing the RS485 adapter but after some troubleshooting we were cooking with gas!!!!Ran some tests last night and have a few tweaks to make on my sequences, (in fear of some spectators going into seizures...) To much action going on which I'm sure is a newbie mistake!!! Oh well, live and learn. Right now I only have 5 songs done but I think its a good start! I'm very excited for tonight!!! It feels like all the hard work and patience has paid off. If not for this forum and advice from all you other light freaks, I don't think I would have pulled this off.Just sharing my story so thanks for reading....Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!! Noelb
Good job. It may be later than you had wanted...but it is never "too late". I have learned the last few years that my "opening night" goal is never as realistic as I had hoped But, we continue on...and the masses (people) will be pleased and won't notice what day it is.Besides, I do it for myself mostly, and I always feel good when it finally goes live.
