testraub
Yesterday and last night had rain, rain, rain here in the DC area. Show ran fine even with over 3.1" of the wet stuff. HOWEVER our local weathermen forgot to mention that WIND would be coming in behind. 0220 hrs and I'm awakened by a loud noise on the roof. Too early for Santa, but the Santa I have on the roof was blown over (even with the 68lb block of concrete holding him down), Well, long story short, he's fine, and back in place for tonights show. No real damage done to roof or Santa! Tom Straub Attached files

testraub
Tree weights in at just over 100 lbs. 2x4 base, with uni-strut reinforcing. 6 main guy wires on the "trunk" (10' & 15') and 16 guys for the spiral tree. It ain't going nowhere.Posted a couple videos for this year on my website testraub.us in the Christmas Light Display folder.Tom Straub
