Finally Finished my First Musical Sequence

Nice job. It is sure to be a big hit with the kids. I am curious about something. After I sequenced Mariah Carey's "All I want for Christmas" (which took several weeks) I could no longer stand to listen to it. Did this "song" have the same effect with you?

Nice Job, Rick! I love the layout of your display, too, with the lawn lights and multi channels around the windows.

As for your comment on YouTube: "That took way too much effort." I agree completely. There are times when I wonder if I will live long enough to finish the sequence I am working on. So far I have, though. :D

I loved it. Oh, wait. I'm a big kid. :)

I am guessing it did. :)

Looks good man! I like the poles you have on the corners of the house, with the effect of the white lights going up or down. I am thinking of what to add next year, and mega poles was a thought. After seeing yours, I think I will move them up on the list.

Not a fan of the song - sounds like something that would come out of one of my kid's toys, but the sequencing is amazing! How did you get the eyes to move like that?

I didn't exactly like the song before I started, so you can imagine how I feel after hearing it about 1000 times. This was for my kid's who love it. I have to the Mariah Carey song for my wife fairly soon. . .

I actually put it on my "consider for next year" list. Had never heard it before.

By about August, will likely be cursing Rick's name every time I hear the song.. :D
It wont take you long before you start cursing. I will share the sequence file with you if you want it.

My second song is from the album "Techno Christmas" by Wes Edmonson. I am taking a simpler approach to it, and will have it done by tonight I hope.

Not my favorite either, but it was for my kids. There are a lot of things I would do different on the construction of the face, and plan to fix it for next year. The eyes are 10 channels, 4 for eyebrows, 4 for different eye positions, and two for the outside of the eyes so it can wink. I have attached a picture, hoping it will show up properly.
