TitanBry77
Hey all,Now that I've been able to get the show running and watch things operate. There was a couple times last night in between shows where my lights are on just static, that they would all go "Off"I thought breaker tripped etc, but noticed the controllers still had power, but the green lights on the boards were flashing rapid.I tried unplugging/plugging in the USB and nothing, does this mean they've lost communication? They would come back on automatically at some point, was just weird.I thought maybe there was a garble in the schedule or something so I just deleted the entire schedules and made a new one, it was 1am last night when I did that so no time to try yet and see if that fixed it.Any ideas? Could be jumping the gun, deleting the schedules may have fixed it.

USUALLY if the controller lights are flashing it mean the scheduler has stopped. if the LOR icon is red then your show was stopped (check the log to find out why), when it is blue then the scheduler is enabled and your controllers go from flashing to solid. TitanBry77
Ok thanks, in the madness of checking everything I didn't check to see if the icon in the system tray was Blue or Red. I know the icon colors but didn't pay any mind. I'll make sure to check that if it does it again.I did at one point see the LOR icon go Orange, but everything was working, never seen it go orange after that. I always have my log window open so I know what is going on at any one time. anytime mine have flashed red I check the tray icon. almost always has been that i needed to enable the show or do show on demand. rwertz
It sounds like you either lost the LOR "heartbeat" signal for a brief period or the unit really did receive an off command. When your sequence to turn the lights on loops back around, the On command would be sent again and everything comes back to life. Flakey signals or loss of the communication signal can be caused by a lot of things that can be difficult to troubleshoot. So hopefully that's not it.Have you run the LOR Verify tool? Once you get past all the unused channel errors, it can point out a lot of issues. The one I'm thinking about would be that you have some unit / circuit entries that are included in a main sequence and a background sequence. There is a band aide type fix for this also. You can shorten your lights on sequence so it resends the signals more often. Or you can periodically change the intensity on the channels between 99 and 100%. Every time you change the intensity, a fresh command will be sent to the controllers.
TitanBry77
Thanks guys. I'll run the log and see. I ran the verifier etc and didn't see anything I thought would cause it, but I'm new so not sure what i'd be looking for.The background sequence does not run until after 10pm to keep the lights "ON" and it is a 20 second, always on.They never blipped out or did the weird behavior during the "Lights On" schedule. This happened during my (6pm - 10Pm) show schedule which I did with the Simple Builder. I am not sure how the simple builder does it, but after the 3-4 tracks run with music, it then keeps the lights on for basically 45 minutes until the next show, maybe it's that long 45 minutes of lights on that is causing it? I don't know how the simple show builder programs that portion?
TitanBry77
Ok, when the green light is flashing, the light in the LOR system tray is still blue. The last thing in the status log before it goes out is .... something about "started simpleShowBuilder-On after sequence" I accidently cleared the log.
