dkoehler42 Posted December 1, 2011 Share Posted December 1, 2011 I upgraded to 3.1 today before getting down to brass tacks on my holiday show. When I started, I went to press control + O to open an existing file, but nothing happened. I tried again, watching what keys I pressed and nothing happened. When I opened the file menu, I noticed all of the shortcuts are gone. Control + C and Control + V work inside the file, but not opening one. At this time I've found the following do NOT work:Control + N, Control + O, Control + W. Is there a fix to this? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bob Posted December 2, 2011 Share Posted December 2, 2011 This is an unfortunate side effect of a change that we had to make to support something new. However, it may not be quite as bad as you think:If you already have a sequence open, those shortcuts should work fine. It's only when you have no sequence open at all that they don't.We intend to look into getting them working all the time for some future version, but it's somewhat low priority at this point. bob Posted December 2, 2011 Share Posted December 2, 2011 Is it possible that the sequence itself didn't have the focus? Something else in the Sequence Editor (or even some other program entirely) might have?Another thing to check is Edit / Preferences / Keyboard Map. Are you using a custom keyboard map?
