drivemewilder
First year running a show from my pc. I've gone into the simple show builder, and true to it's title....it is very easy to build a show. I've clicked on the red bulb, enable show, the bulb turns blue...but my show won't come on. Nor am i able to "disable show" as it seems to just freeze up and i'm forced to unplug the pc and do a total re-boot. My show is set to come on at 5:30, and i start the re-boot about 5:40 and by the time it comes back to life i'm looking at 5:50ish. The lights USUALLY kick right on, but the other day the music started playing and the lights were dead for 3 minutes of the first sequence. As of now, there's no way i'm comfortable not being at home when the lights are scheduled to come on b/c i know they won't come on. ipb.global.registerReputation( 'rep_post_569332', { domLikeStripId: 'like_post_569332', app: 'forums', type: 'pid', typeid: '569332' }, parseInt('') );
George Simmons
My first thought is to try a complete uninstall and then re-install LOR. I'd also look for other programs that might be interfering - especially anti-virus programs. Check for anything that updates automatically. You say nothing of your PC. Does it have enough RAM?What version of LOR are you using?
drivemewilder
I say nothing of my pc, b/c i would look foolish. Ha, i'm computer stupid. I know just enough to be dangerous. I can follow instruction like noone's business, surf the net with the best of em, sequence a bulb or two, but i don't know anything about pc's. I can look into anti-virus programs, or anything else that might be in the way. I was under the impression that as long as my computer was powered up...and LOR was enabled...that my show would start right on time. It works as soon as i do a re-boot, but not before. Do you know any computer nerds you can bribe with a beer or two to take a look?
