thevikester
I bought a Mariah Carey CD, and downloaded the song, MP3..I want to run it through Audacity, and says its is a "Windows Media File" Cannot open due to patent restrictions. You need to convert it to a supported audio format, such as WAV. or AIFF....if I can not use Audacity, how to I convert to a WAV file??
JBullard
You could burn it to a CD, then rip it back off in the correct format
thevikester
JBullard wrote: You could burn it to a CD, then rip it back off in the correct formatSince it is already on CD, couldn't I just rip it into the right format to begin with? Or am I off base with that?
