Guest guest
I am setting up my first 1602W w/MP3. I have the following setup:Unit ID - 01Hardware Utility COM port - 216 ports, 10 in use.Connected via CAT6 cable (50 ft)The Hardware software finds and recognizes the controller, returning CTB16-D 2.0. However, it will not accept any commands from the software, nor accept any commands from Sequence Editor. Also, the Hardware manager says "MP3 Not Connected".I've scoured the previous questions, but don't think I've seen anything.Any help will be greatly appreciated, and will keep me out of the liquor cabinet. :shock:TIA! Guest guest
Just to clarify, the hardware utility will find the controller OK, but the hardware utility can not turn the lights on and off? First, we need to get your controller working in the hardware utility. Have you tried resetting the unit?1. Power off controller2. Turn the unit ID to 003. Power on unit. (You should see a fast blink pattern.)4. Power off unit.5. Change back to correct unit ID.Is the red LED on steady when you are connected with the hardware utility? YOU ROCK!!! :waycool: The Controller is now behaving itself. I've read that the MP3 Director has to be on for a while before it will 'wake up', so we're crossing our fingers. Many thanks!!!
