Inconsistent performance of CCRS and star

Having inconsistent performance of our CCR programs. Bought Wizards, Carol of the Bells, and Christmas Canon from Brian. Our grandson programmed two of our old sequences with CCRS and they work fine! (He doesn't live here so can't get his help!)Have put in our star channels and CCR channels in all of them and layouts and configurations match in all units. Unit IDs and Network assignments seem to be correct. Have all the cords out of the 12 CCR container; have moved the Cat5s around, and still get odd performances. A lot of light hangups and sometimes the star channels seem to have found a way to run the beginning mega tree channels! Ran the verifyer and seems to indicate that the channel assignments are ok. Now What!???

You could try creating a sequence that turns all 6 channels of the star on for 10 seconds, then turns them off for 10 seconds, on for 10, off for 10, do this for a minute or so. I believe you are running the CCR sequences as a subsequence, so run the diagnostic sequence the same way, as a subsequence.
As it runs, check to see if only the star comes on.

You could do a similar thing with the mega tree, turn sets of channels on for 10 seconds, then off for 10 seconds, on, off, etc. Run it to see if only the mega tree comes on.

You could do a similar thing with the CCRs, except this time you could turn CCR1 on for 5 seconds, then CCR2 for 5 seconds, then CCR3 for 5 seconds, etc. Run it and see if it only turns on the CCRs.

The point is to create diagnostic sequences that turn on lights in a regular manner so you can narrow down what is going on.
