macswebb Posted November 23, 2011 Share Posted November 23, 2011 I hooked all cords powered units and worked for a while had one checked transformer blew now the other is out. what could cause this all lights are led and the units worked all year last year. Guest guest Posted November 23, 2011 Share Posted November 23, 2011 That kind of catastrophic failure suggests short circuits..did you test the controllers before hooking everything up?When you say "transformer blew", what exactly did it do? macswebb Posted November 23, 2011 Author Share Posted November 23, 2011 had 1 checked by a pro said it arced on the board they were used 1 time for 30 days then stored in my closet, lor said it could had been contaminated from the factory. the other will not power up now. macswebb Posted November 24, 2011 Author Share Posted November 24, 2011 yes both are 110 volts and fuses replaced from radio shack with 15 amp fast acting ceramics. Now lor sent me a replacement only 8 channels were working so did reset all 16 work now. Guess I will only run 16 channel show lot of songs to edit.
