Mega Tree center pole firestick

I'm going to add a (last minute) fire stick (aka wrap my center pole) to my 20' mega tree. Do you think 8 channel will be enough to give it a nice effect? (Segments ~ 2.5ft)

I would guess it will take more than 8-100 count strings of lights to go from the bottom to the top, but if 8 channels is what you have left 8 channels sounds like a plan.

I would think 8 channels would look good.:cool:

You may want to consider not starting at ground level but say four feet up thereby reducing each segment to two feet. I have a CCR on my center pole and it starts at about five feet off the ground and looks fine IMHO.
