So it looks bad or ugly.Help Please
MaxsLightsOwner Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Is your jumper installed if it as a PC series controller. The 14 pins to the right of the network ports, on the second row there should be a jumper connecting the two pins.
nmonkman Posted November 22, 2011 Author Posted November 22, 2011 This is a CTB16KV6The jumpers are installed for J1
MaxsLightsOwner Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 That's the only thing I can think of. Only connect that controller, go into the Hardware Utility, refresh for controllers, if none are found go to set a unit ID, tell the Hardware Utility you only have on controller connected, and set the unit id to 01.
MaxsLightsOwner Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 I was just going through the manual for the CTB16kv6 and I did NOT see any jumpers installed except for the ones for power input. (120/220V jumpers) Try it without jumpers.
nmonkman Posted November 22, 2011 Author Posted November 22, 2011 You have to have the jumpers installed for power. Otherwise there is no power to the board past them.
nmonkman Posted November 22, 2011 Author Posted November 22, 2011 OH MY GOD I AM AN IDIOT!!!I HAD IT SET TO 00 for a controller numberAll is well
MaxsLightsOwner Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Ok. You have 2 different sets of pins that require/can use jumpers. One set that is above the 9 to 16 fuse for power. Then there is another set up by the network ports of the CTB16kV6, there should be NO jumpers installed on the pins up by the network ports. Also, does your controller have the little dials that need to be adjusted for unit ID, or do you set the unit ID in the HWU?
