l0chte
I bought 2 flood lights from Menards over the weekend.. I can't find amps labeled anywhere.. What do most incan flood lights normally take?
JBullard
how many watts are they?Basic ohms law watts divided by voltage equals current (amps)
l0chte
I don't have them with me but she says they are 100watts.. That makes100/120= .83amps? And I have 2 so 1.66.. Thanks

However, that is not Ohm's law. Ohm's law formula is: I=V/R, where I= current (amps), V = voltage, and R = Resistance or ohms. Two different things, I believe. landond
Ohms Law: V=IRWatts Law: P=VIThey are two Separate Laws technically but combined in most calulators.
