Secondary source for triacs?

I'm pretty confident I blew two channels when accidently shorted them while staking my minitrees... I entered a trouble ticket yesterday, but didnt hear anything back today (Monday) before they closed.. I cant imagine they're busy this week or anything.

I have two questions...
1) can I run a CTB16PC V1 green board with two triacs physically gone without hurting anything??

2) Would these triacs be an acceptable replacement in case LOR can't get replacements to me this week??
Thyristor TRIAC 600 Volt 15A 3-Pin(3+Tab) TO-220AB Isolated.. Manufacturers sheet says "15 Amp and 16 Amp bi-directional solid state switch series is designed for AC switching and phase control applications such as motor speed and temperature modulation controls, lighting controls, and static switching relays." (hopefully the link works ok from here).

Just as a note. In the past when I have had a failed component. I have sent the email and within a couple of days the parts show up at my door. I have not heard anything back in most cases.

Keep in mind LOR is swamped due to the supplier situation earlier in the year. They are trying to do in short time what normally they do in months.
