audioconv.ocx Error

While installing the 1.6.1 update I get the following error....

error while registaring file audioconv.ocx

I had no problems on the XP. This error is on the 98se. I have a guess that it goes with the waveform thing so I just ignored it, is this a big problem?

Thanks!

Hummm it should not be a problem...We did install on 98SE and 98 ...

Yes it does have to do with the waveform so you will only be able to use the waveform if you are using wav files...

so audioconv.ocx does the .mp3 conversion to the wave form? So I would only be able to use it with waves? Thats ok, that computer is just for shows and not sequencing.

Go to the Run box and put in:

regsvr32.exe "C:program filesLIght-O-Ramaaudioconv.ocx"

If the ocx file is there it will try to register it.

I got the same errors when loading on 98 box. I can't get it to do any sequences. Works fine on my XP system.

Won't try using this version on 98 until after Christmas

Did the ocx file get copied into the LOR install directory when it installed? Of course I did have a typo there should be backslashes, it should be regsvr32.exe "C:program filesLIght-O-Ramaaudioconv.ocx"
