Erik
In the move to the new house I've miss placed the antenna that was included with my EDM transmitter. I tested last night without an antenna and wasn't happy with the results. Does anyone have a suggetion on the best material to use to make a new antenna? Richard Hamilton
YIPES! NEVER test a transmitter without an antenna. you are asking for big trouble and failure of the unit. Just buy a cheap rubber duckie off eBay for $10.
Guest guest
But make sure that rubber duck antenna IS designed for what you plan to use it for here. Here's one option..I have similar, works fine.http://www.ebay.com/itm/FM-transmitter-Antenna-88Mhz-108Mhz-1W-BNC-connector-/300530086752?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item45f8fd3360You'll also need an rca-male to bnc-female adapter.Just do a search for "fm transmitter antenna" and you'll see plenty of options.
