scubado
I've got a neighborhood rabit that now has a bulls eye on it. Darn thing is already chewing wires and I don't have the lights fired up yet. There's no snow on the ground yet, so there's no shortage of food. Any ideas? My yard is too visible so I can't shoot it. Arnoldc
Fox urine seems to do the trick. Problem is one rain you got to re apply. Also heard moth balls seem to work.
scubado
I'm not the only one that hates this rabbit, it needs to 'disappear'. It also eats my bushes in the winter, which reminds me, I need to get some chicken wire soon.
Dave H1
Is Bugs eating your Cat5 or power cords??If power, throw a couple sacrifical ENERGIZED cords in the areas that he is visiting.Who knows, you may be able to have SPARKY for Chritsmas dinner. jeffl
I had one night of destruction and then nothing since. I'm happy so far. Maybe he didn't like the taste of wire after all.Time to start the witness protection program (live trap).

Ralph D
ps, don't put the traps were kids can see them it opens up lots of questions and other not so nice thoughts. ex, in my town you cant trap of move wild animals.....why i have no idea. but if you get caught doing so its a huge fine. EvilM0nkey
Get a few owl or hawk decoys that make noise and put them in your trees or on your house in visible places.
scubado
If my house weren't so visible, I can walk right up to it within 10' and shoot the darn thing.
scubado
Update: Since I have hada BB gun at the ready, I have not seen hide or hair of the darn thing, but was still chewing wires. I finally got some mothballs and littered the elements with them and haven't had a problem for a week. One of friends calls me up and asks if she can bring her Grandma over for a show, I said sure. I standing outside enjoying the show with them and notice only one blue strand working on my blue tree. Afterwards I check out the lights, sure enough, the rabbit chewed in the same spot again and had to be standing/laying right on the mothballs! This is WAR! scubado
I'd love to catch it, tie a rope to it and stake it out in the school yard for the local hawk or Great Horned Owl to get.
