harrison0550 Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 I'm a huge fan of this guys lights...........He is a super nice guy as well and most of my display was based off of his basic design. Of course I love the holdman display as well. I just like the clean solid color displays.
evan.a Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 not my song of choice, but my wife wanted it.http://vimeo.com/4878681
Caleb Linburg Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 The Holdman Amazing Grace is mr favorite. I also really liked the display that got me into this hobby, I went back the next year and they had moved due to complaints. That is what truly got me motivated to do my own. So after about a year or two I got a gemmy box.
Bill P Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Thia is the house that got me hooked....lolhttp://youtu.be/iqBLg7TPXP4
miaskiewicz christian Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 1st I saw and loved was Holdman's Amazing Grace, then I discovered Kumbaric and his Christmas Light Heroand what really was for me a revelation for what I wanted to do was Cracker's video back in 2009 :http://www.youtube.com/user/KJ92508#p/u/14/ARwl8qWoGrQBecause of that particular video I spent all the year to figure out how to transpose that for Christmas and drew, built and sequenced a Singing Snowman.
PMC Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Mine is different,I was minding my own business one day and my son who was 6 at the time back in 2006 found the Carson William's WiW on YouTube and looked at me and said.."Hey Dad, You can do this....can't you?"well at this time in our lives he was going through his second round of Chemo for Leukemia and how could I say no I have to thank WowLights for helping me through this back then, They got me up to speed really fastAnd here we are 6 Years later I put up the lights and he untangles and the wife orchestrates and is the light checker and bulb replacerAs for my favorite display, I find interest in almost everybody's, I really don't have a favorite. I guess because as we all know the hard work involved in making the lights go on and offBut, If I had to choose, I would say Brian's SuperStar Tree made of CCR's really got me modivated, I think this is the future of House Lighting when the CCB's are out
Melvin Stoddard Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 When I started a couple of years ago this is one of the 1st one I saw,and I was hooked. Second video "Christmas Festival" by Boston Pops is my favorite. http://andrewschristmas.com/video.htm

Another person there that lights the roof lights! hahaha YAY! Very nice... Queen of the Winter Night, who is that's... that is someone in this forum it escapes me tho who. But I like when the face whistles... I wonder if there is a way to quantify what makes a good display.DrewDrewQueen of the winter night with the face(Is what got me hooked) would be George Simmons
TitanBry77 Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 The Mattson Lights video was one of the first I saw back in 2008, I always said I'd do something animated one day, this is my first year so I'll see where it goes.http://mattsonlights.com/?page_id=386 (Love Sandstorm, one of my favorite techno songs too)
Arnoldc Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 My fav other than the Holdman display, is done by one of out members:
CLD Kevin Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Here is the very first video I saw that made me said...."I gotta have one". After some research, I found LOR and purchased my first controller. Funny thing, I bought it for Christmas display and have yet to make one. I'm more of a Halloween person I guess.
