drkngl417
I am very much a noob. And I have started planning my yard for next year Halloween. I am in the process of gathering the equipment I need and want. This brings me to this forum. I will try to explain my wants and see if this software and equipment will do what I am looking for, so please... bare with me.I am looking to run some dmx up lighting on my house and a few props. While in the background running some sound. I want to manually trigger some props, I don't want them triggered other then by myself. There are a lot of little ones in my neighbor hood that I don't want to have scared out of their minds with some of my props. So I was looking at building a controller that was equipped with a dmx controller for lighting. A board with manual trigger switching and some led dimmers for some led lighting that I will have. The DMX controller will be running my up lighting and led dimmers will be running my led lights on some of my props for ambient and the momentary switches will let me trigger my props.I know that light o rama will run dmx and will let me dim my leds but I wasn't sure if there was a way to trigger my props from light o rama manually. I know that Venue Magic will but way to much money for software. I would like to minimize the amount of equipment on my control board.Any help would be greatly appreciated
