Dave Boros
I am still using the old style visualizer (rather use the time for programming right now vs setting up new visualizer). How do I import/get my "drawings" for when I program a new song. Dont want to have to keep drawing it. Thanks
bob
When you have your channels set up the way you want (including stuff like unit ID, circuit ID, channel name, color...) and your animation done, you can go the the Edit menu, and then "Export Channel Configuration". This will save all that stuff to a channel configuration file.Later, on a new musical sequence, you can tell it to create the channels based on a channel configuration file; select the one you exported. Alternatively, after having created a sequence, you can go back to the Edit menu, and "Import Channel Configuration".
Paul Roberson
EDIT: Bob was faster than me.:cool:New- VisualizerOld- animationThe old 'animation' (not visualizer) will import with a channel configuration import. If you make a totally new sequence without importing the 'old' channel configuration you will have to draw everything again. If you have a 'old' sequence open it and then goto Edit>Export/Import Channel Configuration>Export Channel Configuration. Name it something (Channel Configuration 2011) and save it.When making a new sequence import this channel configuration file into it. In the "New Musical Sequence Options" window you can select "Use a saved channel configuration template" and select the config file you exported/saved.BTW. The new visualizer is awesome!! I do understand not wanting to take the time right now with it. Its only around 15 til light up time for some.
Dave Boros
I only have two songs done, and several to go. All extra time is better spent on writing than setting up the new visualizer.
