Santas Helper Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 So we have a couple rare earthquakes on Saturday. Things calm down. Set up a few lights on the roof on Sunday (beautiful day). Prediction of storms for Monday so I hold off putting out snow flakes and other elements. Today, Tornados to the west of us with storms scattered about all day and into the evening. Okay, I can work on a few sequences in doors. Another earthquake (in Oklahoma?) 4.7 on the scale (about 45 minutes ago) and with thunderstorms in the area at the same time. Thunderstorms approaching from the west with thunder (on top of us now). So I hear thunder wondering if it's an aftershock. :shock:Done with sequencing for the night :X. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day. Another beer or two before I go to bed.
Don Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 One of the email lists I subscribe to was very active on Saturday, and again tonight.Supposedly people here in the Dallas area felt both of them ... but I didn't feel a thing. (And hope to avoid ever being near one, but I digress.)
ainsworth Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 My oldest son lives in Enid and he has been talking about the weather and earthquakes. We are scheduled to go up there for Thanksgiving. I hope it is all done by then. Heavy storms and or earthquakes in a motor home is not fun.
