My version of the Dan Burst

I just finished and installed my first Dan Burst today. My version is a little different because I couldn't find the lights used in the original version. What I am using is the 35" Snowcicles from Shopko. There are some issues to deal with if you're interested in making your own. First you have to buy five sets, you can add more spokes if you wish also, just need more sets. Each tube is timed different from when power is applied. When you open your sets, label them 1-5 starting at the power end. Next, cut the cord half way between each tube. With having five sets you can make 5 bursts, group all the 1's together, all the 2's together ETC... The line is 14V AC so you don't have to worry about polarity. The sequencing will be a little tricky, each set is timed different from the on time. So you need to figure out the delay time and when to turn off to time it right with the music.

The other thing I do with these tubes which is the original intent, is to lengthen the distance between each tube and change the order inline and install them up in the trees. This gives it a ramdom look.

Here is my video, I started recording on the third fire, so it starts to drift in timing.
