since the neighborhood kids like (as in stole) my strobes from halloween i've decided to secure all my controllers. it is a deck box from lowes. it holds 10 controllers with 2 seperate sub-pannels. i put 2 50 amp four prong RV outlets on the side of my house. it may even help me store all the spt extension cords i'll now need during the off season. this is my first year and im going in with 160 chanels. tell me what you think.

Great idea, i had been thinking of doing something similar. I've only got 48 channels so far but it will keep everything neat and tidy

the access hole for the stp cords is not cut yet. im going to cut it in then fabracate a hood to prevent rain or snow from intruding into the box.

Are you sure the neighborhood kids aren't going to open the "cooler" looking for beer?

That looks very nice. I started with 3 channel last year and am up to 16 this year. I can not imagine 160 channels.

From the picture those look like 15 amp duplex outlets.

they are 15 amp GFCI outlets. the loads on each controller are well below 15 amps, however each is on its own breaker.

That was not directed to you.

I was responding to maxnight's picture.
