Mark Showalter
I know I just saw the video a few weeks ago but I can't find it now. In one of the threads I saw a link to a video tutorial about how to install vampire plugs. I remember separating the ends and noting which wire had ribs and the other smooth. Anyone know where that link (thread) can be found. Thanks,Mark
Guest wbottomley
Mark, I never separate mine. So far, they are holding up.
Mark Showalter
I guess my real question is... Does it matter what side the ribbed -vs- smooth side of the cord goes on as it relates to the larger - vs - smaller metal plug prong?
Guest wbottomley
Not really unless polarity is an issue.

Just feel for the ribs in the cord and put them on the same side every time. I never separate the ends of the cord and have had no problems. Mark Showalter
Got it! Strobes are working on the new cord. Now I get to make 127 more...:]Thanks!
