beeiilll
Well mother nature is certainly having a field day with us this year from the looks of things and it appears that she has decided to play a little trick or treat on folks for this weekend. How are folks taking this eerie weather forecast along the path of this new storm?I don't do a halloween display so it doesn't affect me much although it certainly will make setup for Christmas more of a challenge if I go ahead and do a display this year.Anyway, good luck to all this weekend. Keep safe and warm and watch out for the little ones out there.Happy Halloween.Bill
Greg
it will definetly slow my setup down!!! I already am losing the full week before thanksgiving due to having to work out of town so It will be tight getting everything done in time for light up. cenote
In Panic mode since I heard the forecast Wed. Had a huge setup day planned for today for family to come over and help get the house 100% strung with all 3 colors, and maybe get another tree wrapped. Now I loose there help, cause every weekend from here till show time, they are not available, and mine are short too. So now I sit here watching the rain come down, waiting for the snow to start, working on sequencing and tweaking bugs.Woke up this morning, and said, OH WELL, can't change mother nature, at least I be out all night making money to buy more lights for next year My advice to others, Don't worry about it, I remember not getting my first controller back in 2006 till the first week in December, and somehow having a show running a few days later. And people still loved it At least it will be back near 60 next week, so going to have to take advantage of that hr or so after work when it's still light outside. scubado
What's the forecast? I'm on vacation and not paying attention to the news. I'm sure whatever you get will melt quickly, but make it messy.

mbettez
We ended up getting 26" of snow. Unbelieavable. Not only that but we haven't had power since saturday night and latest reports were no power til friday. I have no idea how I'm going to set up my lights unless the snow melts. Half of the house lights I put on from the roof which is impossible to do with snow up there. Setting up the mega tree is going to be real fun in the snow.I'm almost at the point of giving up for the season. If my wife wasn't begging me to keep going I would have packed it in by now.
