OK so this weekend is the big one for me and my 1st year...today its been raining steady not hard more drizzle all day and is supposed to last through the night....do I not run the show tonight due to the weather? Im more concerned about the zip cord wire connections that are in the grass if it would short out anything or?

The forcast for tonight in Tampa is rain over 50% as well as tomorrow sat, sunday looks pretty clear but then again monday with possible rain with isol thunderstorms....thoughts?

Move your stuff up here, it's not raining. :( Keep your plugs up off the ground, I use a little dowel or anything just to keep them off the ground. Are they are GFI'S?? If not don't tell Jeff! If it's not raining, make sure your plugs are up off the ground and run the show. I can't say for sure about if it's just a drizzle, I'm sure someone will answer that part.

Run the show. If the GFCI pops then you know you've got a sort somewhere. I try to keep all my connections off the ground so that they don't sit in standing water (very bad!). I run rain or shine. Rain shouldn't hurt you. If your GFCI keeps popping then shut it down until you can find the problem.

ok, an nothing is in standing water but there are a few connections that are in the grass area which has been rained on all day. I also have them all plugged into a power central station that has its own gfi and built in breaker fuse so I should be good then. man sure sucks tho to have this weather...oh well , thanks for the confirmations!

Shfr you going to come? :(

Here in North-East France it's often raining in fall and winter so to avoid electrical problems I protect all the plugs connections (plastic bags wrapped around and zip ties mostly) and have no problems.

Try to run your show.
