Jules lights
What is the best way to sequence a monologue- where there is no set beat?
jstorms
Create a musical sequence using your monologue recorded in an audio file. Then you can have all your lights on or off. In the show editor wedge it between songs.
bob
I'm not saying this is the "best", but the VU Wizard might be interesting. Especially if it's just a monologue by itself, as opposed to spoken voice over music (or if the music is mostly background level).
David Rise
I've had my fill of sequencing for the year.So I just randomly fade through the first part of the audio. Set different effects and then for the last 15 seconds, all the lights are on.Shows all the lighting effect and then lets folks take pictures at the end. Jules lights
That's exactly what I was looking for- I've never used VU wizard and I'll definitely give it a try... Thank you so much!

There are more details in "tips and tricks" under the Newbies forum, and you can see results here http://www.youtube.com/user/aussiexmas43?feature=mhee#p/a/u/1/ewuqwS-8hOARegards Geoff
