RaceMedic
Simple question from someone who has not done it before. On opening night I want to start the show by having a child push a button.I understand how to do that as far as setting on the show but the question is.Say for example that the show loops 10 times in a single night. When the show launches with a push of the button at the beginning of the night will it look for that input signal again when the first show completes ?!Thank-you for your time !Dave
-klb-
The start show with trigger option only applies to when the scheduler starts the show. Repeats within a scheduled time don't wait for the trigger. I usually only schedule the triggered version for Saturday, with intent to change to normal version before the week is over. I've forgotten to do that once.
bob
Each block of time that the show is scheduled for will require the button to be pushed once. So if the show is scheduled to run continuously from 7:00 to 9:00, and one "loop" through the show is about ten minutes, it will loop about 12 times, but only need the button once.On the other hand, if you scheduled it to run from 7:00 to 7:30, then 8:00 to 8:30, it would require the button, loop (about) three times, then it would require the button again at 8:00.If you wanted it to go from 7:00 to 7:30 and 8:00 to 8:30, but only require the button at 7:00, then I would suggest making two different shows, exactly the same as each other except that one requires the button and the other doesn't. JoeKinne
Just because I appear to be rather dense, how would you wire up the trigger mechanism to the controllers so that the show could be kicked off? :?
RaceMedic
Joe ....Take a look at this thread ... I can't remember exactly what they are called but it is attaches to your board and your run the wires off it, and then set it up in the hardware setup.http://forums.lightorama.com/view_topic.php?id=18910&forum_id=76&highlight=input+triggersDave
