JBullard
Here is the full text of the announcement:As a token of appreciation to our customers EDM Management decided to extend the warranty on all our transmitters from the current 3 years to a period of 4 years, becoming effective today. This will be applied retro actively. Certain conditions will still apply. Warranty will still be void if proved that unit was physically abused, modified or damaged by external factors such as lightning discharge. Customer is still responsible for shipping to nearest repair centre. It will be up to the customer to prove date of purchase of the EDM unit as we do not keep customer records for long periods of time. We believe in reliability of our product and this is our way of proving it. This sets a challenge for our competitors to follow.EDM Team
Guest guest
It also speaks to the fact there is but one source for EDM transmitters...unlike the cheapie bargain basement ebay specials, where they are mass produced with questionable design, specs, and quality control, the distributor fades into the night after a couple months, and you're left realizing the old adage "you get what you pay for" has come true again.
