RaceMedic
I am hoping for some feedback from those who have used strobe lights in the past.I have 30 lights from CDI.Question being ... I have up to 3 channels available for the strobes .. right now I have 2 programmed and a 3rd channel as a spare. Is it better to spread them out across the 3 channels ?!I am looking for the random strobe effect and I know that they fire at different rates but does it help to offset the "on" time within the sequence a fraction of a second or does simply turning them all on work well. This is one of those things that until I set up and experiment it is hard to visualize.Thank-you for your input !Dave
Surfing4Dough
Probably depends if they are LED strobes or xenon strobes. Most xenon strobes appear random immediately, whereas LEDs don't. Some precharge LEDs instead, which I would think would be preferred over using (wasting) extra channels that could be used for something else. RaceMedic
Sorry ... I should have indicated .. they are xenon bulbs. The extra channel was from a change in plan last minute so I have no real place to use it this year !
RaceMedic
To re-open this thread ...I did my first test tonight with my Xenon strobes from CDI.They all flash in sequence briefly before they randomize.Any tricks or ways to get them to randomize quicker ?Dave
