Anyone tried Disney's LuminAria?

I'v been trying to get Beat Wizard to work with Disney's LuminAria, but it changes so much, slow, faster, fast, slow, fast.. slow.. I thot it was having a hard time because its' a 16 minute song, so I cut it down to several 3 & 4 minute segments, but the tempo isnt consistant enough for the Wizard to make it work.

I'm about to try it with Instant Sequencer and see if v3 is any smarter.. this is on my laptop, as I'm still unable to install v3 on the desktop computer, but that's in another subtopic.

She be a fun one....Started a couple years ago on it as I wanted to do two shows that alternate night to night and I wanted Luminaria to be the starting song for one of them. Believe In Holiday Magic is the start for the other one. I'm doing two alternate shows this year anyway but Beleve is the start for both of them as I haven't got much more than about 40% of Luminaria done. Rather than deal with all of the drastic tempo change with this one I just have been using the Waveform as it's easy for me. Some one did do this years back some as I ran across a video and it was awesome. A search might turn it up. I WILL get this finished, but not for this year. IF auto sequence works I'll shorten the time up to redo my other 20 something songs with the additions of more lights/channels from year to year which will allow more time for Luminaria. It is a song that has a lot of sections that lends itself to fades between the flashy parts...

TJ I have a couple of songs where the beat changed too often for the beat wizard to be really useful, like yours. None were 16 minutes, but one was 4 minutes something.

I wound up using the tapper wizard, and got the beats where I needed them. After about 3 or 4 minutes you go can get beat wizard fatigued, so doing smaller segments (2 minutes maximum) would probably work much better.

Lenny, I agree.. I've been battling with this for a while too.. think I'm going to have to go with something else, or really try Tapper and see how it goes..

Greg, I zipped the first two minutes or so to attach here, but it's over the 2mb allowed :( Win7Zip only knocked it down from 4.03mb to 3.98mb :X I'll have to try 1/4speed I guess and see how that works.. a minute at a time.. the first 2 minutes is where it is really hard.
