What version of software are you using? And what operating system?

What does the message say exactly, word for word?

Is there a light bulb icon in your computer's system tray? Note that you might have to click an arrow in the system tray in order to see all the icons that are in it.

I don't know what the "making changes to the hard drive" thing was, but that light bulb icon that you clicked on is the LOR Control Panel, so apparently it has started up.

The "currently disabled" message just means you don't currently have scheduled shows enabled.

You can read more about the LOR Control Panel here:

when I click on control panel a box comes up stating "do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer?

Program name: LORTray.ext
publisher unknown file origin hardrive on this computer
yes or no?

when i hit yes, goes back to the desktop

Sounds to me like it is asking you if you want to allow the program to run with administrative privileges. By saying "yes", you're allowing it. By saying "no", the program will not run.

I don't know why it would be asking that; as far as I am aware the LOR Control Panel does not require administrative privileges in order to run.
