POLL **** Checking LOR website ****

Check the PDU every morning as the coffee is brewing, then read the forums via the e-mail subscriptions, then do some other things, coffee's ready, get the coffee, start answering e-mails or forum questions, recheck PDU again, just in case. Go do some sequencing for an hour or so, come back and recheck everything again.

I just want to know what it's going to cost for each type upgrade depending on current license levels or ???

So I know if I will be able to afford the full upgrade, or a lower upgrade until I can do the full upgrade, or no upgrade at all, and just stick with S2 until such time I can afford the S3 upgrade.

So I'm checking in mainly for CO$T to get which S3 I can possibly afford, not so much when it's avaialable, since I'm past the 1 year software date (Feb 2011 my year was up), so I just want to know the costs I'm going to incur to get all the new bells and whistles!

As it says here...

There will be set up required to use the new visualizer.

But the new features in SE can be used immediately and fit in seamlessly as if they were always there.

I never would too if I already had it since I was a beta tester. undecided.gif

I'm probably one of the few beta testers eagerly waiting on the release, because I need to get it in the hands of three other users who are also sequencing for the volunteer assembled show this year...

I wouldn't say that...

Just because I'd also answer the OP's question as "never", I'm definitely looking forward to everyone getting it. For people who want to get the most out of it, there's a lot of new stuff to learn. And for people who want to just keep on keeping on, everything they know today still works in S3.

I sure hope we see a S3 FAQ section in the forum though, so people will have a one-stop place to go and get answers to what will undoubtedly be a long list of redundant questions so the whole forum doesn't crash.

Yes, it's funny, as the forum has been categorized if you use the recent button to read all the new posts. you find the same questions asked in 10 different categories... it would be nice if things were sorted better.

I'm just a lil curious, to the beta testers.. When I was beta testing Vista, then Win7.. beta versions would continue to work a month or so after the final Release version came out, then you were expected to move to that and kill off the beta install (W7 actually had a drop dead date and would not boot after that). So when S3 version finally releases, will the beta you're using/testing no longer work? Just wonderin'

I check a couple times a day, but not for S3. I check for any info on the CCB's for use this year. May be forced to go with more Fire-Fli's this year if the CCB's don't make it in the next week or so.

Are you asking how many times you can press F5 on the software page at the online store looking for the 2 to change to a 3??? Well, ok, at least 12 times.. once an hour while at work :)

Come on Bob, you can hit it at least 3x waiting for the forum pages to load :)
