Controller Availability???

Does anyone know if LOR is actually shipping out controllers now ? I notice that we can order them from the webpage, but there is a big caveat that says it may be several weeks before they can ship ....

This is my first year of the madness and if I cannot get a LOR controller in time for the holiday season I want to make some kind of alternate arrangements ...

Help!

:)

What type of alternate arrangements? Hiring a bunch of teenagers, or maybe unemployed Wall Street brokers, to plug in and unplug lights very quickly for four hours each night?

I ordered controllers last week and they're arriving on Friday

I ordered on when they first went on sale and it shipped Monday. Are there still more available? I would say order and find out. If in a few days it doesn't ship email and ask for an ETA. If its too far out make other arrangement and cancel the order.

Good idea ShaggySS...

Alternate arrangement would probably be to purchase the lame lights and sounds of Christmas at Lowes --or-- maybe try to get an 8 channel controller someplace else. My soldering skills leave a lot to be desired, so I would need something pretty much pre-assembled -or at least not required soldering ...

Worst case scenario I could always BUILD a static mega tree for this year and a few more arches ...

But it sounds like LOR is indeed shipping ...so I'm gonna try to place my order asap!

and with that, welcome to the insanity!!Do you currently have anything from LOR? If not you should look at one of the starter packages.
You will need the software and usb adapter to make the controller do anything.(or a director) Then there is the issue of getting the sound from the computer to the viewers. Being that I've been in CT in the winter, I'd suggest using an FM transmitter, either that or you are going to need really loud speakers to penetrate into cars with the windows closed and heater blowing.

The one on the right is doing the arches...other 4 are dedicated to the 50 foot high mega tree....
