captainron19
I make all of my own extension cords utilizing spt wire and the vampire endsI currently have 4 arches and my plan this year is to add an additional 4 arches on the opposite side of my yard but have them tied in to the 2 controllers running my original 4 arches. Do they make a female vampire plug that has more than one opening? I know I can run each extension cord from the new lights to the female end of each set of lights on my current 4 arches but I thought it might be easier just to run the same length of each cord directly to the box and tie it in there. JBullard
Yes they do. Called an inline female. Paul at CDI sells them. You can also make your own by cutting out the other side of a standard female allowing the wire to exit.

I think he's referring to if you already have end plugs on hand... you could just cut out side opposite of where the wire goes in (to match the side that already has a gap for the wire to fit into the plug). captainron19
If I get what you guys are saying with the female inline plug..... all I have to do is take the end of the spt cord coming off of my arch and put the female inline right near the already existing male end where it is plugged into my controller..... then I can just run an extension cord from each new arch segment to that inline female? shfr26
I have three arches on 7 channels and 2 others on 7 channels. I use the ends right at the arches. So I have 1 cord running to the arches with an inline plug at the end near the arches. So all my arches have 1 cord to them and either 1 or 2 more to connect them together. Hope that makes sense.
