I use the Eclipse 4000 from www.mobileblackbox.com . It is a great sounding unit. You can adjust the range just by adjusting the volume on your show computer. They are sold out, but the V6000 looks just as good. And for $100.00, you can't go wrong. I know most use EDM, and I think having RDS would be cool, I just don't think the extra $$ is worth it.

I just looked again, and the V6000 doesn't transmit in stereo, so I wouldn't go with that one.

Mine was about ten days from the time I ordered (paid with PayPal) until it arrived at my door.

Great little unit! The quality of the sound is wonderful, and it goes about a block from my house in all directions, on the LOW power setting.

I highly endorse this unit. I bought the RDS unit.

Definitely don't go with a mono transmitter.

For $159 shipped, the EDM-LCD-CS-EP seems to make the most sense for an excellent transmitter without breaking the bank. I personally have the LCD-RDS model and love it, but reports say that the CS model sounds about as good and $86 cheaper.
From what others have said, it seems that $134 plus shipping for an inferior MBB doesn't make sense since the CS was released last year, though could justify it when only the higher end EDM models were worthwhile.
